1954 Siata 8V 208 CS Balbo
This magnificent Siata 8V Berlinetta chassis number CS*074* is the very last one built of a total production of only 9 cars. These are not only ultra rare, but also one of the most stunning cars of the early 1950-ies area.
We have concentrated on these special Italian "pursang" cars and are proud to be among the first enthusiasts to have recognised the importance of the Siata and Fiat 8V cars in general. CS*074* was found by me in Italy in the year 2001 in original and unrestored condition. It was a solid and complete car with original structure and body, original matching numbers engine, 5 speed gearbox and rear end.
The full history and ownership has been traced back and is completely documented. We were happily surprised and happy to find out that the Siata was part of the very famous collection of "The Sleeping Beaties" owned by the French Michel Dovaz. Pictures of the car sitting in the barn among his Bugatti's, Alfa Romeo's Ferrari's etc.. are published in the two books that were edited about the collection.
The car has been completely restored to the highest level in it's original color combination. That wasn't always an easy going process and experience has put us in a position where we can advise the do's and the don'ts
